About Jamie

Hi there! I am an aspiring author of Regency historical romances and have finished my first novel, Pearls and Moonstones. I have started the thrilling process of querying literary agents. I am also excited about my second novel in progress, another Regency historical romance titled Amoret, the first in a planned trilogy revolving around three sisters.

I am a Pro-member of the Romance Writers of America and a member of the Beau Monde Chapter.  I love Regency Period novels in particular and am a Jane Austen fan, which I am sure will become apparent with my occasional (ok…I confess..frequent) references to her genius. If you just don’t get what all the fuss is about, well then…you have my sympathy! Other Regency romance authors I enjoy are Georgette Heyer and Sheila Walsh.

I spent the first part of my life as an Air Force “brat” living on bases in Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, Arizona, Germany, and Texas. My gypsy blood has settled and I now live in the southeastern USA with my husband of almost 20 years, two beloved daughters, and our spoiled shih-tzu puppy, Clairabelle. My incurable romantic streak is balanced by my very practical work as a Certified Public Accountant in a local CPA firm.

My passion is to write stories that beckon the reader to escape into another time and, after the last page is turned, leave them with renewed hope in love.
